Last year - 2010 I, somehow, managed to complete the inaugural Brighton Marathon (see evidence to the right). OK it took me a total of 06:01:12 but the important thing is - I beat Spongebob and raised £1980 for St Peter and St James Hospice.

Anyhow, this year was about a new challenge. Completing the Coast to Coast. Tynemouth to Whitehaven for the Back-Up Trust. It was a group event where we hoped to raise £10000. In fact, thanks to all the support we managed to raise a whopping £22000! Next year, 2012 - we will be doing it all again - in Devon, but with more people and an ambitious target of £50000!
